Sri Ambe Jewellers

Sri Ambe jewelers is S&O's mecca for silver jewelry. A super simple store with quality and unbeatable  authentic designs.

Pot market, near  Mahankali police station in Secunderabad is a spot for speed merchants as shops sprout up every day. Where as Sri Ambe jewelers have been on that very spot since the beginning of 19th century. S&O is proud to be the 3rd generation bargaining with men in that store.

A shop set up by marwaris known to be cut throat in matters of business, and tough to bargain with. A challenge lady of leisure can't resist we reckon. Every time we visit the store, the ever occupied man across the counter says "Let me show the latest designs in payal". The latest designs are always promising... ranging from the antique Nizamian style to the latest string anklets, for every occasion the store has something to offer. Silver cutlery, dinner sets and small gift items.

S&O recommend you to check out the small car, gun, rose, knife scissor key chains from here...

XOXO S&O
Until we shop again.

Sweet Magic...

Sweet Shop + Restaurant = Sweet Magic .

The food place opposite D V Manor (where we stayed the Last 3 days) on MG Road Vijayawada Just is an awesome most place to enjoy the Andhra meals. Veggies will love the platter, and for the Non-veggies Oh man, Watch out for your stomach might just explode.

For 150/- You get Non veg Thali with Fish Chicken and Mutton dishes along with a whole array of vegetarian dishes, unlimited supply of rice, delicious curd and Mind blowing Sweets that come from the ground floor where there is a sweet shop that can make one drool deliriously all over the place. I was told that the sweet shop was so popular, and even though they expanded the small sweet shop to a bigger place with a restaurant adjacent to the sweet shop and an other one on the first floor; they retained the name SWEET MAGIC; once you eat there you'll agree that the name is apt.

Chef Chinna Rao's cooking skills are commendable I must say.

Hyderabadi biryani on the menu doesn't taste anything like the Biryani in Hyderabad but I assure you it is delicious, and I personally suggest you try Biryani with Ulava Charu but ask them to bring it separately.

I regret not carrying my camera in to take the pics of the place or the food. But I'll be there soon so I'll keep that in my priority list.

XOXO
