Amethyst

A Tamil man marries a German lady, they have a baby girl, she grows up, and inherits her parents (approximately) 150 years old spacious house, and realizes what a beauty the house is and wants to share it with entire Chennai, Viola the result of that fairy tale is a magnificent coffee shop.

A beautiful spot where they serve dishes covering the desire spectrum of any food lover, along with awesome breads catering to the needs of the French (maybe working with Alliance Francaise de Chennai) and other bread-loving Ex pats living and working in Chennai.

Not just that This place is a haven for those who love poking around and see what is hip and happening in clothes furniture accessories etc while what they ordered manifests itself into mouthwatering display, S&O appreciated the antique furniture there...

Food is not in-expensive, but the portions are pretty large, we remember ordering a macaroni in tomato sauce and had trouble finishing it. Mosquitoes can cause a slight discomfort if seated outdoors in the evenings...

Nevertheless it remains to be such a treat to go there, to just lounge around in the evenings amongst so many plants and trees sipping in the green with your eyes breathing in the freshness along with the whiffs of aromas carried to you by Mr.wind

Here S&O present to you all Amethyst

XOXO
